Data controller
The controller responsible for personal data collected directly through this website is:
ARTITECH – Jean-Marc Schaeffer
Rue du Nant-d’Avril 150
1217 Meyrin
Switzerland
Website: https://www.artitech.ch/
Privacy contact: webmaster@artitech.ch
ARTITECH provides and organises IT consulting, support, maintenance and assistance services.
Professional assignments are contracted and administered through Diligo’s payrolling system. Where necessary for establishing or carrying out an assignment, certain professional information may therefore be transmitted to Diligo for contractual, administrative, payroll and invoicing purposes.
Contact forms and service requests
When you use a form on the website, for example to request information, support, an intervention or a prepaid hours package, ARTITECH may process the information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, organisation and the content of your request.
This information is used to respond to your request, assess your needs, prepare an intervention or proposal and manage the professional relationship.
Depending on the nature of the request, processing is based on pre-contractual or contractual steps required to provide the service, or on ARTITECH’s legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
This information is not sold to third parties.
Form protection — Cloudflare Turnstile
The website’s forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to limit automated submissions and abuse. This service analyses technical signals from the browser and connection to distinguish human use from automated traffic. Technical information is therefore sent to Cloudflare as part of this check.
More information: Cloudflare privacy information
ARTITECH IT Assistant
The website provides an optional IT pre-diagnostic assistant that allows visitors to describe a technical problem and receive guided initial troubleshooting steps.
Use of this assistant is optional.
Messages entered into the assistant are transmitted to OpenAI through its API in order to generate responses and query ARTITECH’s technical knowledge base.
ARTITECH keeps the following information in its own log for 30 days: date and time, language used, any selected diagnostic category, the content of the question and the technical processing status.
The visitor’s IP address is not recorded in the ARTITECH IT Assistant log.
A random technical identifier is temporarily stored in the browser session to maintain the conversation context. It does not contain a name, email address or other personal identifier directly provided by the user.
Users should not enter passwords, PIN codes, MFA codes, recovery codes, banking details or other confidential information into the assistant.
Processing by OpenAI
OpenAI states that inputs and outputs submitted through its API are not used to train or improve its models by default, unless the customer explicitly opts in to data sharing.
OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days. Depending on the API configuration and features used, application state associated with the Responses API may also be retained for 30 days.
Data processed through OpenAI’s infrastructure may be handled in several jurisdictions, including countries outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area, depending on the infrastructure and subprocessors involved.
Audience measurement – Google Analytics
ARTITECH uses Google Analytics, installed through Site Kit by Google, to measure website traffic and better understand how the different pages are used.
These statistics may include the number of visits, pages viewed, the general origin of traffic and interactions with the website.
The use of cookies and storage associated with Google Analytics is controlled according to the visitor’s consent choices. The website uses Complianz, WP Consent API and Google Site Kit Consent Mode for this purpose.
Visitors can Accept, Reject or Customise statistical cookies through the consent banner and can subsequently change their choices using the Manage my choices function.
ARTITECH has configured the retention period for Google Analytics user data and event data to 2 months. The retention period is not reset when new user activity occurs. This setting does not affect most standard reports based on aggregated data.
Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights
ARTITECH also uses Google Search Console to analyse the website’s visibility in Google search results and PageSpeed Insights to monitor the technical performance of its pages.
These services serve purposes separate from the behavioural audience measurement provided by Google Analytics.
Cookies and consent
The website uses cookies or storage technologies that are strictly necessary for its operation.
Statistical cookies are used only in accordance with the visitor’s applicable consent choices and preferences.
ARTITECH also respects compatible privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track (DNT) when they are transmitted by the browser and recognised by the consent-management system.
An up-to-date list of cookies and their purposes is available in the website’s Cookie Policy (EU).
Hosting
The website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, Switzerland.
The hosting provider manages the technical operation of the website and may process technical data and logs required for security, diagnostics and infrastructure operation.
Data retention
Questions recorded locally by the ARTITECH IT Assistant are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Information submitted through forms is retained for the period necessary to process the request. Where a service is provided, information required for the contractual relationship, invoicing or compliance with legal obligations may be retained for the periods required or justified by those obligations.
Personal data is not retained longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
Recipients of personal data
Cloudflare is also involved in protecting forms through Turnstile.
Depending on the service used and the relevant purpose, data may be accessible to ARTITECH, Infomaniak for website hosting, OpenAI for the IT Assistant, Google for Analytics and Site Kit services, and Diligo where transmission is necessary for contracting or administering a professional assignment.
ARTITECH does not sell visitors’ personal data to third parties.
Your rights
Depending on the applicable legislation, including the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may request access to personal data concerning you, its correction or deletion and, depending on the circumstances, restriction of or objection to certain processing activities.
To exercise your rights or ask a question concerning privacy:
Where the GDPR applies, additional rights may include objection, restriction, erasure or data portability depending on the legal basis for the processing.
Security
ARTITECH implements technical and organisational measures designed to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.
Communications with the website are protected using HTTPS/TLS.
External services and links
Some pages may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.
When you leave the ARTITECH website to access a third-party service, the processing of your data is then governed by that service provider’s own privacy policy.
